Noted Malayalam, Tamil Actor Murali (55)passed away at Trivandrum today. He was suffering from diabetes.
Murali had won the national award for best actor in 2002 for the Malayalam film 'Neythukaran' directed by Priyanandan. He has also won five state awards for best actor in the Malayalam movies Neythukaran, Aadharam, Kaanakinavu, Thalolam, Amaram (Supporting role). He has also acted in several Tamil and Telugu films also.
He was serving as the chairman of the Kerala Sangeeth Natak Academy.
Murali is survived by his wife Shailaja and daughter Karthika.
