Karthi’s success graph with the tremendous victory of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, ‘Paiyaa’ and ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ has made him the reigning actor in Kollywood and Tollywood as well. Now the actor is getting ready for the release of his next movie titled Siruthai. This film will not be released in Telugu as it is a remake of Telugu movie itself titled Vikramakudu.
Karthi will be playing the dual roles of a petty thief and a police inspector. Thamannah plays his love interest. The film is now getting released on January 14, 2010 for the occasion of Pongal.
The audio of the film will be launched this Saturday (Dec 19) by Suriya and Gowtham Menon along with Lingusamy. Vidhyasagar has scored music first time for Karthi and we can expect a lot from this new combination.
