Ajith and Shankar For Bharateeyudu 2

Ajith who has was seen last in Venkat Prabhu;s “Mankatha” has got a good response from all over. This movie has been dubbed into Telugu in the name of Gambler. Later there was news that he will be acting under A.M. Ratnam’s production and it might be “Dookudu” remake. Well, we haven’t got any official confirmations about that news.

But now the latest news is that, he will be acting under the direction of Shankar. The news is that A.M. Ratnam who is planning to do a movie with Ajith is trying to contact Shankar with the idea of sequel for the movie “Bharateeyudu” which was produced by A.M. Ratnam and produced by Shankar. Well, he is waiting for Shankar’s approval and if he says yes, then there is possibility of this trio working together for Bhrateeyudu sequel. Let’s wait and see what will happen.

VV Vinayak launches Venkatesh's Bodyguard audio

The music of Bodyguard starring Venkatesh and Trisha (they are paired for third time) was released at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Dec 13 .

Gopichand Malineni is the director, while Bellamkonda is the producer. The film is made under the Multi Dimension Entertainment Limited banner. Music is by SS Thaman. Highlight is that the function coincided with the birthday celebration of Venkatesh.

Venkatesh, Trisha, Dr Ramanaidu, KL Narayana, KS Rama Rao, Burugualle Sivaramakrishna, ML Kumar Chowdary, Malineni Satyanarayana, Ramesh Puppala, Jwala Gutta, Prabhas, VV Vinayak, Vasu and many others took part in the event.

VV Vinayak unveiled the audio and presented the first album to Prabhas. Bodyguard`s memory card was released by Rana. Tamil hero Karthi launched the film`s official website.

Ramanaidu said: "Bellamkonda Suresh said that he had great hope on the film. I am happy at the confidence levels. I wish the entire team all the best."

VV Vinayak said: "I am sure Bodyguard is going to create a new record in Tollywood. It is the right kind of story for Venkatesh. Ram-Lakshman composed excellent stunts, coupled with Taman`s superb music. Gopi is all set to join the big league of directors."

Karthi said: "I am happy to get the invite for this function from Venkatesh. I feel this is the hundred days function. It is sure be a super duper hit."

Bellamkonda Suresh thanked the gathering and said that Bodyguard will be release on January 12, while all efforts are made for the overseas release on January 9. Rana and Prabhas hoped that the publicity for the movie was excellent.

Venkatesh said: "It is really a thrill for me to have the audio of my film released on my birthday amidst my fans. From my debut Kaliyuga Pandavulu to the present Bodyguard, my journey has been successful due to the affection of my fans.

"Now, Bodyguard is sure to enthrall the audience as a family entertainer. I specially thank director Gopi, Bellamkonda and Thaman for their efforts."

Director Selva shocked | Ladies vs Ricky Bhal

Director Selva says that he is shocked to find out that major portons of the Hindi film Ladies vs Ricky Bhal have been lifted from Naan Avan Illai, which was directed by him. Selva states that when his friends brought this to his attention it was too late because by then Ladies vs Ricky Bahl was released.

Naan Aval Illai is a remake of K Balachander film. The film was originally made in Hindi as Wo Mein Nahin which was based on the Marathi play. The rights of this Marathi play and the Hindi film along with K Balachander’s film have been procured by the producer of the current Naan Avan Illai and it is shocking to know that Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is lifted from these films, said Selva.

In a press statement, Selva had said, “The fact is that though we had bought out the rights I had restructured the original Tamil version which was released way back in the 70’s to suit the tastes of today’s audience. The sequel which was released in 2009 was totally created by me. Now I am truly shocked that almost 70% of the storyline of Yashraj's Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl bear stark resemblance to my film."
