Billa goes for the remake in Telugu

Wow! The remake mania of Don seems to be going forever and ever. The original version in Hindi featured Amitabh Bacchan in lead role. Later Superstar Rajnikanth remade it in Tamil and both the versions were rocking the box-office. Later after couple of decades, Shah Rukh Khan starred in the remake with the same title directed by Farhan Aktar and it was a mind blowing flick, since it was made using the latest technologies.

But, bits and pieces of changes were spotted and that wasn't the same with the remake in Tamil. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the remake in Tamil had Ajith donning the lead role and again it was a hit. Nayanthara and Namitha being used as the sleek glam-dolls was more of powerful element for the film.

But we aren't sure how may do know that Don was actually remade in Telugu in 1969 with NTR playing lead role. Fine! The film didn't do well and so it was unnoticed. But now with the success of all the four versions, the film would be again remade in Telugu with Prabhas playing lead role.

Prabas and Nayanthara are very close friends since they have acted together in couple of Telugu flicks. But Prabas was disappointed, when Nayan refused to play the same role in Telugu. Now, Anushka will be playing lady lead in Telugu…
