Mr Amitabh Bachchan will soon go on a tour to Bodh Gaya, Buddha’s birthplace to get into the mood for the next film, “The legend of Kunal”. The film is based on the later years of Ashoka’s life. The cast of this film is interesting; Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu of the Cheeni Kum fame would star as Samrat Ashoka and his wife Tishyarakshitra.
The Director believes that these two actors would be the most suitable for the roles of Ashoka in his later years, mature and grave and his Queen, fiery and strong. Kunal, Ashoka’s son will be played by Arjun Rampal and Amrita Rao will play his wife. These two characters are also chosen according to their capabilities.
