One of the oldest actors from the pre-war era, Nagesh, died today (Januaray 31) morning at his residence in Chennai, he was 75.
He is one of the best known ‘Comedian And Hero’ in Tamil films, mainly playing the comedies in Old Movies. He has done over 1000 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
He has been in the film industry for more than 50 years. He has worked with 7 generations of actors.
Nagesh was probabally the first Comedian actor in Tamil cinema to get claps, when he appeared on the screen.
