Former Miss World Yukta Mookhey will tie the nuptial knot tomorrow with entrepreneur Prince Tuli here in city, family sources said. "Yukta and Prince got engaged yesterday at a function here during the five-day marriage ceremony starting with the 'Mehndi'," says groom's uncle and Congress leader Mohabbat Singh Tuli.They were engaged on September 7, 2008 at the ITC Grand Maratha. 33 years old Prince is a New York-based businessman and financial consultant.
After winning Miss World title in 1999, she never made any big news in bollywood . She has been struggling in Bollywood for a long time, seen in B and C grade flicks like ‘Pyaasa’, ‘Memsahib’, ‘Kathputli’ etc. She was unlucky and unsuccessful. While many beauty queens made remarkable presence in industry like Sushmita, Aishwarya etc.
The Tuli family, is engaged in the hotel, transport, automobile and fuel businesses in India and abroad. Prince looks after some of the businesses in Delhi, Singh, who is the Managing Director Hotel Tuli International, added.
The event is likely to be a star-studded affair with those from world of glamour and politics likely to attend the ceremony.
Prince Tuli says that the best thing he likes in Yukta Mukhi is her simplicity and respect of elders, being from a glamorous profession she is still deep rooted to the our culture and tradition.
