The best thing that happened to comedy actor Karunas was that Sun Pictures has taken over Dindigal Sarathy. In the film he makes his debut as a full fledged hero and is paired with Karthika.
Sun Music recently launched the audio of the film, live on the channel. Speaking on the occasion Karunas said: " Dindigul Sarathy will be a milestone in my career. It is a remake of Sreenivasan's Malayalam film Vadukku Noki Yantram, made 19 years back. The character and situations are perfect for me and it will suit my image."
The original Malayalam film was brilliant, as it depicted the story of a lazy laidback guy who dabbles in everything and fails without realizing his core strengths. Added to that this dark and unimpressive guy has a king size inferiority complex, as his wife is fair and beautiful, leading to very funny situations.
The film directed by Shanmugham is a clean family film with a mix of humour and emotions.
